Maybe B.J. Upton has reached his peak for the Tampa Bay Rays

Every single time I watch B.J. Upton play I think he should be way better than what he is. Upton has played in 123 games for the Rays this year and he is 100 of 429 (.233 avg, .735 OPS) with 70 runs scored, 13 homers, 46 RBIs and 37 stolen bases. He has now played in 636 games in his six years with the Rays and he is 606 of 2,328 (.260 avg, .757 OPS) with 359 runs scored, 62 homers, 272 RBIs and 160 stolen bases. I’m beginning to think that Upton might be as good as he’s going to get right now. If that is indeed the case then the Rays should trade him over the winter.
